How many Christians are out there who can spout off indiviudal superbowl statistics for the past 30+ years, but can only name the four Gospels? And even then, they aren't familiar with the contents of the Gospel. The truth comes out when we read the Word of God and light is shed on man's darkness. So many Western Christians have a Bible in their home, but it has become a rusted sword. "I didn't know" will not suffice on the Day of Judgement. So many of these false doctrines would be exposed if Christians would become familiar with their Bible.
