Praise God for your articles! I have a
friend who is from Italy and I was searching for Born Again literature in the Italian language. I am a born again believer and have been for 56 years. However, my daughter who has not yet given her life to the Lord Jesus Christ has begun living with a man from Italy and of course I am terribly upset. He is a very nice man but, her disobedience has me so upset that I had to undergo Open Heart Surgery that I feel was heightened by the worry because I have 2 little grandsons 11 and 9 whom I had been taking to Sunday Church to learn from a very young age about Jesus. This man also has a boy named Guisepe of 13 and 3
children are also involved.Where may I obtain books in Italian on prophecy and real solid teaching such as you write about ? I am in prayer all the time about this and to make things worse this man used to attend a Seminary as he began training to be a Priest! Love to read from someone in a predominantly non-believer country in the Lord Yeshua, as this gives me a new request for prayer and I will place this on prayer lists of friends of mine as well.

In Christ's service,

Peggy.P.S. The children are no longer allowed to attend church with me.

Mr. Scudder couldn't be more right when he says that many Protestants are unaware of the 'Gospel According to Rome'. However, I was in the same position until I spent a couple of years in Italy and realized the Vatican doctrine is in serious error.

Returning the the US has shown me even more how oblivious evangelicals are to the doctrines of the Roman Church and how sympathetic many evangelical churches are to the 'Gospel according to Rome'. Ecumenism is on the rise and many "church-goers" aren't even aware it is going on the their church.

Wow-Roberto! What great information you have to share on the people and spiritual state of Italy! My family is from Pisa and as an Italian American, I have a strong desire to see what I agree with--a new move of God among the Italian nation, as I don't see much to revive. I so appreciate the insight of what you have shared regarding the Italian educational system/indoctrination. I so would love to see my family in Italy come to know the Lord Jesus Christ. It amazes me that when they were in American to visit us, they had a fear of spiritual entities (they were here at Halloween and were afraid of the jack-o-lanterns as we drove through neighborhoods)and yet lack in understanding of a relationship with a living God. I am so happy to have found you on the web and will be praying for Serinissima Bible Church/ministry. Should I make it to Northern Italy, I would love to visit.

Blessings!

Hey Roberto, I had not visited the site in a while but read every word of this section. You are such an inspiration to me, I love you're heart. I loved what you said about people feeling that their spirits were heavy when in Italy. It's been almost 4 years and I so miss that burden in my spirit because I think it refined me and kept me real about my passion for Christ. You also mentioned about the 'reformation' that has not yet taken place in Italy. I will pray with you all on this. For anyone reading this post, a fascinating person to read about on this topic about 'the almost reformation' is Girolamo Savonarola. Reading accounts of this guy's struggle within "the church" will stir any believer to continue to carry their cross. Shalom, Bryan

So many of these false doctrines would be exposed if Christians would become familiar with their Bible. How many Christians are out there who can spout off indiviudal superbowl statistics for the past 30+ years, but can only name the four Gospels? And even then, they aren't familiar with the contents of the Gospel. The truth comes out when we read the Word of God and light is shed on man's darkness. So many Western Christians have a Bible in their home, but it has become a rusted sword. "I didn't know" will not suffice on the Day of Judgement.

Hey Roberto,

I was reading your commentaries about that Jesus behind bars you saw in Austria and I couldn't agree more. However, I did think of another spin on that statue. I was thinking about the fact that had Christ not died for me, then I would be the one captive to sin and ultimately, eternal death. I think of the cage Christ is depicted in as the cage I would be in had it not been for Him. He took my place and, therefore, He is the one in the cage. What do you think?

I have read you story with interest. I am born again and my son, a backslider, has gone to live in Italy with his italian girlfriend. He left here (UK) a year ago taking with him a copy of the New Testament in italian, now he doesn't want to know. Her family, interesingly enough, come from the alps. She says she feels sick when she enters a church. When I visited there a year ago i could understand why with nothing but images of death and suffering & piety everywhere. I pray constantly for my son but also for the land which is so locked in catholic/pagan worship & teaching. I would appreciate your prayers for my son whose name is Ben and who lives in Modena. I will pray for your work also as it is so important. Bless you.

Oh, Roberto, I do miss your sense of humor. I will enjoy reading your blogs in the future as I have enjoyed reading these last few you have already put out. I believe reading these commentaries written by someone I know personally will keep the fire in my heart burning for those lost in this pagan world. Thanks, keep it up, and know we miss you all.

Great post here Roberto! I remember getting national security alerts on my cell phone about "not coming down to Rome because it's too full". This was definitely a sign that we live in a "global" society.
After what we saw from this last pope, could we say that he was more "Mari-an" than "Christ-ian"?
